The foundation

Entry. Open source.

Entry is the foundation every system we build stands on: twenty years of architecture, turned into building blocks, a blueprint and code generation for .NET and Angular. Because it is open source, you can see exactly what your system will be built on.

Apache-2.0Open-source licence
1,800+Commits, pushed weekly
40+.NET building blocks
14–22Angular versions supported
Under the hood

A foundation you can build on.

Entry is based on the Enigmatry blueprint: the architecture our tech leads kept rebuilding on every project, until we decided to build it once, properly. It is ordinary .NET and Angular, written to be read. It is free to use, runs on your own infrastructure, and you can start with it today, without asking anyone.

Building blocks

Over forty .NET modules for the things every business system needs: persistence, security, search, storage, mail, scheduling, health checks, API documentation.

Blueprint architecture

A complete solution skeleton (API, application services, domain, infrastructure, migrations and schedulers), with .NET Aspire and Playwright built in from the first commit.

Code generation

Generates the predictable layers from the domain model, so both agents and engineers can focus on the part that is specific to your business.

Who does what

What Entry covers, and what you decide.

An honest overview of what the foundation provides, what your team stays responsible for, and when Entry is not the right fit.

Entry suppliesYou own and maintain
Architecture A .NET solution skeleton (API, application services, domain, infrastructure, migrations and schedulers), with .NET Aspire and Playwright built in. Every decision specific to your domain. The skeleton has no opinion about your business.
Building blocks 40+ modules for the parts every business system needs: persistence, security, search, storage, mail, scheduling, health checks, API documentation. Choosing which to use. They are packages, rather than a framework that takes over your application.
Front end Angular components, forms, SCSS foundation and lint configuration. Angular 14 to 22. Your design system; Entry leaves the visual language to you.
Code generation Generation of the predictable layers from your domain model, as ordinary readable source in your repository. The generated code, once it exists. You are free to regenerate, or to stop.
Licence and cost Apache-2.0: free to use, for as many people and as long as you like. The main obligation is keeping the licence and copyright notices. Your own code, outright, under whatever terms you choose.
Upgrades New versions published to NuGet and npm. You upgrade when it suits you. Deciding when to take them, and testing them. Pin a version and it keeps working.
Hosting and AI Everything runs where you put it. Entry is packages and source in your repository: it runs entirely on your side, without reporting back to us, and the choice of AI provider is yours. Your cloud, your database and your AI provider: all separate decisions from this foundation.
Entry is not the right fit when

Your team works with technologies other than .NET and Angular and plans to keep it that way, in which case a foundation your own developers already know will serve you better. The same applies when a standard package already does what you need: Entry is for systems that have to be built, and if buying is the better option, we will tell you.

Entry earns its place when

The system will outlive the people who build it, the code has to be readable by whoever inherits it, and you would rather own a conventional stack than rent a proprietary one.

It also helps when you want to judge the starting point before you hire anyone: that part is free, and it is the whole reason Entry is public.

Where to begin

Start today.

01

Take it

Pull the packages from NuGet and npm, or clone the blueprint. It is open source (Apache-2.0) and free of charge, so you can start before we have even spoken.

02

Run the demo

The Angular component demo is live and the blueprint boots with .NET Aspire. Judge it on your own screen.

03

Or start in the SaaS Factory

The SaaS Factory puts Entry, our pre-hardened SaaS blocks and the harness to work on your idea: a secure MVP in six weeks, an operational SaaS product in three months.

It works without us, and your own developers can read every line.

In the open

Read it first. Then call us.

Entry is open source. Your own architects can read the foundation your system would be built on, form an opinion and tell you whether they want it, all before a contract exists. Few decisions in this industry can be made in that order, and we like that this one can.
