Working with us

A software company in Rotterdam.

Our office is in the Groot Handelsgebouw, next to Rotterdam Central Station. With around a hundred people in Rotterdam, Belgrade and Novi Sad, we build custom software that people rely on, and we keep looking after it once it is live.

What we build

Custom software.

We do three things, and we were doing all three long before AI. AI has made us faster, but we are still the same company.

Custom software that has to keep running

Software built for your organisation, instead of a standard package. The code is yours, and the people who built it are still there years later. If a standard package fits better, we will tell you.

Your own software

AI assistants with sources

AI assistants that run in production and show the source of every answer, so users can check it. We built our first one into our own product, Yessa, before building one for a client.

AI in production

Replacing legacy software

We replace or modernise the system everyone is afraid to touch, step by step, while your business keeps running. The people who know why it was built that way stay involved.

Legacy
Who it is for

Software for every sector, built to last.

For twenty years, we have built software for rail, parking, transport, justice, publishing, education, healthcare and manufacturing. If that software fails, passengers, patients and students feel it straight away. That is why we build for the long term, and stay reachable after go-live.

  • RailNS · software for the Dutch national railways, including De Kast.
  • TransportHTM · operational software for The Hague’s public transport operator.
  • ParkingP1 · parking operations and on-street permit management.
  • JusticeDJI · data work for the Dutch Custodial Institutions Agency.
  • HealthcarePameijer · an electronic client record for a care organisation.
  • FiscalNextens · TEX, a fiscal AI assistant that shows its sources.
  • PublishingSDU · long-term management of publishing platforms.
How we build

Building with AI, without the quality moving with it.

Coding agents write code in minutes, but trusting that code is the hard part. That is why we built the gate first: an automatic check that decides whether code can be merged. Every change arrives as a pull request in your repository, is reviewed against written criteria and is signed off by a named person. We call this Harness Engineering, and the method is written out in full.

Our foundation, Entry, is open source under the Apache 2.0 licence. It is built on .NET and Angular, and written and maintained by our tech leads. You can check it before you hire us, and it stays free to use, for you and for any team that comes after us.

How to start

Start small, at a fixed price.

There are two ways to start. Each has the scope on one page and a fixed price, so you know what “done” means before you sign.

SaaS Factory · six weeks

A five-day Factory Sprint turns your prototype or idea into a fixed quote; six weeks later a secure MVP runs on Entry, in European production, with a signed security report. For anyone with a product idea, a prototype, or a system that has to be rebuilt as a product.

Hardening Audit

For anyone who already built with AI: a senior review of security, architecture and operations, ranked by what hurts first, and a straight answer — fix it, or rebuild it here.

Paperwork

Everything procurement needs.

Your security officer’s questions, such as who gets access, where your data is stored and how our Serbian offices are covered, are answered on our security and compliance page. We send the certificate and the list of sub-processors straight away on request.

On Friday afternoons, colleagues meet on the roof terrace. There is a study budget, and we travel between Rotterdam and Belgrade often enough to know each other well. That is why people stay with us, and why a twenty-year-old system still has someone on it who remembers why it was built that way.

Meet the team

Let’s talk about your software.

An hour and a coffee with the engineer who would actually work on your project. We talk about what you want to build or replace, and what it would take to make it worthwhile.
