Challenge.
The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) possessess an extensive archive of information about the labor market. This archive includes various sheets, files, figures and databases that the BZK believed should be made more accessible to the general public. Although the information was publicly available, it was mainly specialists who could process the mountain of information. You could use the existing system only if you knew exactly what you were looking for.
To do such a job, you must be good at processing and migrating vast amounts of data and making it easily accessible. Precisely the combination of factors that we are good at.
Solution.
We combined .NET MVC and Umbraco to create an attractive, theme-organised site that is easily searchable. It is not only the hard figures that are important. That is what we kept in mind when creating the new Public Administration Knowledge Base. It is also about the stories behind the numbers.
